Visualize

Taking a few days off this week and next, so not planning much in the way of accomplishments/ deliverables.

Last week/this week/next week (12/13/14):

I am trying to keep up with my new routine and for the most part (the mental, important part), I am succeeding. Visualization really does help. Visualizing myself being enthusiastic, happy and energetic in the environment I want to be.

“Peace, beauty, contentment, harmony… are all ours for the taking. We must open our eyes, our hearts, our minds, our souls.”

Another anonymous quote, eh? Yeah. Our souls. Open our beautiful wonderfully fragile souls. That’s hard sometimes. One gets so used to having a hard shell, running the rat race, etc. My visualizations, though, came to the same conclusion, it’s all there, I just have to be able to open up.

That is what is often impressive about art. People baring their souls for all to see, the soul that is trying to say something – whether loudly or quietly depends on the person. So sometime next week, I will also make time for the visual arts and see where this “seeing” takes me.
